With child publication items, the getListItemXmlAttributes method in the list view fails.

Problem

When items are modified, I’ve constructed a JS class to populate the SG/Folder list view data. (As per Jaime’s method) When I work on items in the publication they were made in, everything works perfectly.

For example, when I open a component or page, the custom locked by column updates and displays my user name.

See the box that asks if I want to change or localize the parent item. The code does not function if I choose to edit the parent window. With initial debugging, I haven’t exactly worked it out yet. Chrome appears to swallow the problem, however Firefox sends me the following message:

Is there anyone who has some initial thoughts? Later, I’ll try to post some code…

Solution #1

This means that there was no window assigned to the nsIWebProgress object. So it has nowhere to display data.

This informs you of the file that is linked to the issue. and which line it had a problem with.

The NS NOINTERFACE error, however, is the actual deal. This indicates that the interface has not yet been registered.

You’re making use of Type.enableInterface (). Is that a special method you’re declaring elsewhere? I don’t think so. It’s possible that you should alter that to. registerInterface()

Take a look at this link. Type.registerInterface and Type.class ()
